First off I would look closely for cracks. If there are none, and the area is not structurally crucial, JB weld, RTV or whatever. As to welding, first off are they magnesium? The term Mags was because early ones were for racing and were not aluminum. The best way to tell is get some "Tinners Fluid" at the hardware store. Put a drop where it won't show. If it is aluminum, the drop will seem like water. If magnesium, the drop will act like acid! Smoke and bubbles |

If it is just a porosity air leak, some JB weld will fix it. Do you still want some engine lid struts? |

in US (east coast preferred but I can ship it anywhere) I used valley wire wheel in ventura (ca) and the wheel has small air leak and when I complained he sold me a inner tube (can you imagine - it wasn't even cheap) and my tire guy refuses to put a inner tube in a tubbles rim (I don't blame him) so I need a good reference for a guy who can weld or work on a real mag wheel (not the easiest thing to weld). any help appreciated. I have tried sealers etc and they only work very short term and should really have it done right and these wheels cost a great sum of money and I can't find a replacement wheel (oem 16" rear) anywhere
