Is there a copper washer that needs replacing everytime one removes the plug to drain the oil? What are the dimensions of this washer? Where do I get one? Carmine |

When changing the oil on a 308, I plan to jack the car up just enough to drain the oil. Some of the older posts mention that this would not allow all of the oil to drain. Would there be any reason (if the catch pan below was low enough after the initial draining) that I could not bring the car off the jack and let the rest drain out for 10-15 minutes or so, and then jack it up again and finish up. Thanks, Sal |
