I am posting this here as I have not ventured on the other areas and feel that I belong in this area!
There has been some discussion about fender shields so I had to let you guys
know about this. I found some shields on e-bay last month and was suprised
that they were from a guy in my town named Nick. I have always wanted a set
of the enameled badges to go with all my other Ferrari stuff. Before I bid
on them I called Ferrari who wanted about $875 each, then I caled Robert
Bartel of Black Barts a really cool guy that has all the emblems for about
half off. He said that he sells them for $375 each. I bid on them and won
for about that much for two. I was really impressed how nice they were.
They would not fit on the gt4 as they are slightly curved but I held one up
the a friends 348 and it looked like it would fit perfectly. I think they
would also fit a 308 or 328 very well. I was very suprised when I got them
as they were as nice or nicer than the ones I have seen on the factory cars,
the only difference is that they did not have any studs in the back. but if
any of you wanted to put them on the car I doubt that you would want to
drill any holes anyway. They must be from Italy as they are so nice. Nick
told me he probably could get a few more sets but I think there is a limited
number available. I am always excited when I see real nice stuff so I
thought I would pass it along. If any of you guys were interested in the
metal badges this looks like what you would want. Lats night I saw he had

As my wife would kill me if I got two sets I just thought I would post this.

as you guys say I have nothing to gain by this but always wanted a set, just
wish they fit the gt4, will probably hang them on the wall with all the
other stuff!!! |
