I had a similair problem with the 512TR, My garage caretaker was insulating & working on the garage so he had to pull the car out & then put it back in, Seems she didnt like starting & stopping so she started acting up. But now she's better, under full throttle the problem goes away, on my car at least | ||

I had a loss of power on my left banks, it was just a simple connection problem as my mechanic diagnosed. He showed me where it was, I don't know what that connection is called as I am not too mechanically inclined. (I have a 90 TR) Anyhow, here is my attempt to describe where it is. Follow your air intake up toward the front of the engine. Where it splits off into 2 sections and a bit past that in the middle you can see a connection there. That's where my problem was, the connection was tweaked, wires were a bit bent. He wiggled the connection and reproduced the problem, at idle and driving conditions, I get a loss of power. As soon as he fixed and adjusted that connection everything was fixed!!!! Simple connection problem for me. Hope this helps. If someone can tell Jim what the connection is called or the better description and exact location, it would be great. That was the problem for me anyhow, someone with more technical knowledge may be able to shin more light.  James | ||

ignition wires, rotors and caps. ask Nick, he can get all of that for you at a very reasonable price (did it for me at least). | ||

My 87 TR which I have only had for 6 months, when I accelerate sometimes it seems not to hit on all 12. Other times it has the full pull of 12 cyl. Any suggestions where I might start or if this problem sounds familiar. |
