I would agree it looks better as these was the third refinement so to speak 92-85- 86-88 and 89 on. That said if it is just cosmetics then I am not sure how you can justify it. I don't know the cost but can't imagine it can be done for less than 1k. Why not consider an 89 or later model instead? |

Well I just think that the 1989+ dash and center console looks so much better and you can actually read the speedometer & rev counter. If it costs many $$$ then I will give it a miss. |

can you give a little more background on this, like why you are doing it etc - I doubt anyone has done this. First it is not easy, second it costs money and third diminishes the value of the car. |

Has anyone upgraded there 3.2 ('86 - '89) dashboard to the later version and if so was it a big job and how difficult was it to obtain the parts ? Also how difficult was the wiring ? |
