The kit I got was a cleaner and the water proofing, yes I did mix with water. The key seems to be is using the cleaner first letting it dry, then appling the water proof mixture.

Most aftermarket companies handling BMW and MB parts will have a canvas cleaning and waterproofing kits. Got mine from BMP in Texas, worked great on my wifes Z3 top.

Can someone please tell me what I can use to waterproof the hood on my Mondial ? After a heavy downpour the material gets soaked through and it leaves a waterstain on the (beige) inside material.
