Since I am living in Germany I just called Hamann directly! They have send me a price list where a chip tuning is mentioned. I must correct myself because the description says it should bring a power gain of roughly 25 hp. Costs 2664 Euros in Germany without tax.
If you want to know more maybe you just mail them to ask. The homepage were the tuning and other accesoires for the 348 are mentioned is www.hamann-motorsport.de It is even available in english.

I have nothing to offer in the respect of Tubi, but where did you get the Hamann chip for your 348. Would love one, myself !

Was just flipping through the tubi price list and saw an interesting post! You can buy a manifold with thermal insulation for a 348 for stunning 3744,32 Euros without tax (=16% in Germany). Does anybody know what this kind of manifold is good for? I guess it improves power but it is really worth the money? For that huge of amount of money I could easily do a chip tuning from Hamann (=20hp plus) and go on vacation for a long weekend!
Any experiences or input would be greatly appreciated.
