Henry and Tommy, you both are correct that most Boxers came with Pioneer. However, Murphy must have installed mine, as it is Alpine. It has exactly the same configuration with radio in the middle and equalizer on the left. It does not have the Ferrari sticker. Tommy, good suggestion concerning Ebay. Anyway, I did the necessary grunt work of pulling out all the related wires under the dash, removing the seats to trace the speaker wires, and even solved the mystery of the remote activiation of the 2nd amplifier under the passenger seat. The original installer used the antenna activation signal to turn on the amplifier - kind of neat. Anyway, everything is now working fine. Thanks for your help. Jim |

I thought these came with dealer installed Pioneers. I have seen the Pioneer equalizers in these cars with the Ferrari symbol on them. I would go to eBay and program a search for one that will email you when one comes available. I am sure one will eventually. I got a Blaupunkt EQ from Germany that way. It was exactly the one dealers used in 1982. Good luck |

Does anyone happen to have a Boxer ('83) with Alpine radio and equalizer? My equalizer does not power up, despite power to the radio. The car is new to me, and I have traced all the wires from the radio to the equalizer. No luck. If anyone happens to have an Alpine system, this would be of great help. Thanks. Jim Selevan |
