Here is another testimonial for Wheel Tech. They mounted up a new set of Pilot Sports for both myself and a friend last year. I swear they never even touched the rims with their hands. (Well, maybe once or twice.) These are good people, and they treat your stuff like it was their own. No nicks, no scratches. When it's time, I'll go back. It's not too often that I take a car in for work and don't have to spend hours polishing out small scratches or cleaning fresh grime off seats and carpet.

I paid $125 per wheel a year ago for refinishing to factory color and sold the wheels for a profit.

There is another place in Union City that claims to do 24-hour turnaround. http://www.fixrim.com
I have no experience with them so I dont know their work.

Good luck.

Stephen,

They can do a basic respray for about half of that amount, but then you get what you pay for, I would NOT advise it. If you are going to do it - do it once and do it right the first time. That's what I did (several times now - different wheels) and I paid roughly that price.

Noel/Ben:
Gave them a call and got a estimate of about 1~2 weeks for a lifetime warranty factory finish restoration. They quoted between $800-1200 depending on my wheels condition. Is in line with what you guys paid?
Thanks again for the lead. They seem like the right people for this job.

Thanks guy's. I'll give a call. I take it they'll know what process I need? I'm sure not.
I'll posted the results of the work. Maybe photos too for the archive section.

I 2nd Noel's suggestion of WT. I've used them on almost 20 rims including 2 sets of Ferrari Rims. They do all of FLG's wheels. But I would advise if you can wait a bit - do, they will soon be moving and *I* wouldn't want to have my wheels there during any such transition or settling in period with the new place. Also let them mount the tires as well.

Stephen,

I recommend Wheel Techniques in Campbell. I had them refinished my OEM wheels and they did an excellent job. In fact, I am sending my Challenge wheels this winter for a re-spray (and color change).

Did you have a problem with Keystone?)

I was hoping to get some leads on any SF Bay area wheel refinishers that fchat members might recommend. I'm in need of refinishing my 16"QV's and noticed the problems some have been having in other posts. Definitely want to avoid that situation.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
TIA
