Well, I guess I opened myself up for this one... Flame-away!
You guys really want to start the flames? You should see what I went through for the stupid valve stem covers. I'm starting to rethink this whole thing!
On a serious note Scott, a friend gave me a new one this week, and it's metal. Looks good, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be metal or plastic.

Scott, did you get the CD I sent you with the Monterey photos? I'll post a few here this weekend.

Oddly enough, I was docked a full point at a recent judging event for not having the original plate frame for the car. I know what the frame looks like, but am not sure if it's plastic or metal.
Can I get a small survey of '89 328 owners to help determine if the original was plastic or metal?
