That's right there was some prep required. Washed the car with Dawn dish washing soap to remove road grime and wax. It may sound funny but I used a clay bar to pick up grime that was still on the paint. It really seemed to leave the surface clean.

Used hand polish to attack light scratches. The Z5 polished masked light swirls in the paint. I believe that Griot's and others have simular steps to their product applications.

Zaino products work best once the car/surface has been properly prepared, since Zaino doesn't remove anything. Basically if you have any oxidation or swirl marks or such they have to be handled first then Zaino applied for best results.

I've been using Zaino Brothers system for my red 308QV and it looks great. It was recommended to me by a buddy who has a Viper that he shows. It is not a wax but a multi-step polish system for the paint. Very easy to apply and buff out.

Anyone have any experience with Pinnacle car care products? Cant decide whether to go with them or Griots.
