Under normal conditions the park brake is not connected in any way with the hydraulic system.
It is, however, very possible that during the time that the old parking brake was dragging that someone messed with the brake bias valve which is really nothing more than a fixed proprtioning valve set at the factory.
Now that your rear calipers are no longer dragging it will be difficult to readjust the "bias" valve to the correct setting. I suggest that you consider installing an adjustable proportioning valve in the hydraulic line between the master cylinder and the the rear brake system. You can purchase such a valve from Stainless Steel Brakes Corp. 800-448-7722. Cost is less than $100.00 and can be externally adjusted to give correct front to rear braking feel. Setting is actually by the seat of the pants or using pressure gages temporarily installed in front and rear bleeder ports. Unit comes with instructions or contact me if you need help.

I had asked this question on the other Ferrari site just before it was converted and didn't get to the responses before the data was lost. I'll try it again with the hopes someone can help me here. I had a frozen rear left handbrake cable that affected the brake bias valve (brake light came on). After repairing the rear cal. I now find that I have more rear breaks than front ones. So how do you get the bias valve out? Is it repairable and if so how and if not where can I get a new one or a substitute one? Thanks Steve
