Hi John, nice car, what color? Regarding the slow down light, it only has to do with the cat so if u remove the cats u can ignore it, pull the fuse, or put some black tape over it. On rare occasions cats can get so hot they cause a fire. Seat belts r messed up on my 93 512TR also, so I installed harnesses. 1 day I'm gonna delete those belts |

Ya, I just got some track Pipes from Nick. They are a perfect fit, quality pieces. I might of not aligned it perfect, getting crackling and ballon poping sound only on lifting off gas pedal after accelerating. (Just got them put in today!!) Ben gave me a lot of feedback on that, I'll check with him tomorrow. I can actually hear my K&N suck air now after I remove the cats, I assume it's freeflowing so it sucks massive amounts of air now Oh, ya I also have my pre-cats bored out. Sounds much better without the cats anyway! No CAT fire dangers, although maybe that creates other problem? Again, I appreciate all that people have posted and helped me and everyone else in the past! James |

Real quick as to the seat belt issuse see: http://www.yourlog.com/discus/messages/112/1191.html?990951585 on this board we are just talking about TR seatbelts, if that link doesn't work try under Tech Q&A: Passenger Seatbelt Light stays on if that doesn't help or you have a more specific question, don't hesitate to ask. -Ben |

My 91 TR started running weak after several miles so I turned home. Popped the hood and all was very toasty. Found my ECU for the Cats was gone. Did some investigation and found that those cats can get hot enough to start a fire. Lose your ignition for several cylinders and raw fuel can go into the cats thus glowing them red hot. Not worth ignoring if you get the warning light. Talk to Nick for further info (I'm still learning on pre cats etc) Graduated from starch wing to rotor wing!!! Be careful! |

Glad to to see another pilot on board. I am commercially rated and have a Panther Navajo with everything (Intercoolers, Winglets, long range tanks, IFR GPS, CD players etc.) but I only fly privately. My friends call me an air taxi for the wife and kids. Also have 90Tr. There are others on the site that can better answer your questions. I too will learn from their responses. Welcome and enjoy the car. |

7-12 slow down light, it stays on during light driving and on highway when temp is above 180. Car is running like a top. If cats come off (next week or two) will the light matter. I heard that the light was a warn for higher than norm exhaust temp, and to slow down, not damage the cats. Any info would be great. Also were are the seat belt retract relays to disc. them? Love the site and all the feed back. By the way I live in Northwest KY anybody else around with a Ferrari. I am an Airline Pilot, John Sanzo is the name, Nice to meet everyone. |
