Your correct Barry...I found it. I had downloaded the same manual. Unfortuneately, it does not show the detail, only the placement of the decal.

Thanks for all of your help!

Greg,

The European QV manual I checked was the one I downloaded from the Ferrari Owner's Site. It shows the decal located on the windshield as you mentioned.

Sorry I couldn't be of any help. I'm sure someone will read this and post a picture.

Thanks everyone for the input. The plate that is pictured below is not quite the same one. I meant to take a photo of the one I saw for the sole purpose of recreating one.

Barry...I checked my Euro QV owners manual and could not find any mention of that decal. Also, since my F-car is a GTS, there is no glovebox, only the pouch behind the drivers seat. If I see a pic or the template for one, I'd be able to point it out. I'll definitely try Auto D'Epoca and Superperformance to see if they have repro decals.

If anyone does run across a picture of this decal, it would be highly appreciated!!

Thanks everyone!

I think we cross over on the high volt decal/water tank decal/ on the 308 wheel decal I don't have the 16" decal...are your wheel decals mylar? Let me know what you think the market is on the high volt/water tank decals I don't want to under cut you (e-mail me privately) perhaps we could split a run on the stuff we haven't produced.

Yeah, I've noticed our stuff sells between $10-$20 which is reasonable! Makes us a few bucks and we can still help out other enthusiasts without telling them to bend over! :-) I try to stager between your auctions so that we don't cross lines.

Jay, I got tired of seeing the ridiculous prices that Italian Car Parts is charging...$35 for a glidden paint decal...$27.50 for one wheel decal etc. etc. ...insane...
It is nice to see another legit person selling Ferrari stuff on ebay! good luck and if you need anything let me know...I have some odd-ball ferrari stuff.

Greg,

I checked the Euro 308 QV Owner's Manual and it does indicate a Rated Load Decal affixed to the driver's side lower windshield for the Spyder. A pouch behind the passenger seat on the Spyder replaces the glovebox on the GTB as Steve points out.

I would check with some of the European suppliers like Auto D'Epoca or Superperformance and see if they have reproduction decals. Otherwise, I think you can have these reproduced on your own as I've mentioned. I'm not certain what the Euro version decal or plate says. The example I posted was a 1976 US version plate.

Greg -- Do you even have a "glovebox"? (I know on the carbed-308s GTBs did and GTS did not.)

Greg,

As Dave mentioned, on US versions the Rated Load Plate is mounted under the glove box door and looks like this:

Rated Load Plate

I'm not sure if European Ferrari parts suppliers carry the decal version found on Euro versions, but a if you have a good publishing program, you can probably recreate the decal.

It should be located on the inside of your console glove box when you open the top...

This past weekend, I saw an 84 Euro 308QV that had a 2"x5" decal (clear with black ink) in the drivers side lower corner of the windshield that gave specifications for tire sizes and tire pressures. I checked ItalianCarParts.com with no luck. Does anyone know where this decal can be found?
