I visited the factories service department, which is located on Via Emilio Modena, with my Mondial 3.2 last June. The reason was an ignition coil had failed and they replaced it while I waited.
Now FWIW everything in that building was branded Ferrari, including the computer keyboards, except that is, the ignition coil they fitted which came in a Magetti Marelli box. Whats more the one they fitted does not look the same as the other one on the car. They told me it was an improved design. Maybe I'll get a pic posted.
I will really have to tell you all of my adventure from Ireland to Maranello via London this summer. Later !

Boy those are good prices, but I really wonder if those are actually factory parts. Dealer cost is almost double what they sale it for. Perhaps they have a alternative source. Love to know who. Did it come in the nice yellow Ferrari box? Both of mine are. Ho well... Competition, competition... gota love it !

Dave, I ordered a speedometer sending unit (I ordered the wrong one the first time) which was part # 116987 from "allferrariparts". Cost $66.00 for an original Ferrari part. Your price on the same thing is $142.00. The second one I ordered (the right one) part # 106324 was $94.00. What is your price on this one?

Dave: Here's an example. I just bought a set of the three 355 Challenge drilled aluminum pedals from my nearest official Ferrari Dealer for less than $140. Even Ferrari Dealers will often discount off of list price.

Hello All, I see your talking about my little parts store... So questions for all. How much higher am I on prices? What part number did you buy? Was your part aftermarket? This info would help me make my store more competitive. Since I am the new boy on the block. :-) Thanks all!

What dealer is this? I was quoted $ 278.00 today for a 78 308 gts speed sending unit from Ferrari in Woodland Hills.
