Different hourly prices at the Authorized Ferrari Shop in Mandelieu, just outside Cannes (France), depending on type of car, small cars cheaper, RR more expensive.
For Ferraris, they charge 330FFR plus tax (19.6%) per hour (approx. 50USD). Quite reasonable, I think. Ferrari Denmark charges twice that.

I pay around $110 per hour. So far it's been worth it, as long as they fix it right!!!! The dealer I used to service my car at, they can charge me $50/hr now and I wouldn't take it back to them! Because they never completed diagnosed and fix the problems, but love replacing parts!

I would pay more for quality honest service any day.

I have found in the incredibly price happy SF Bay area Ferrari labor rates run $85 to $125, with most around the center ($95-$115) per hour. Keep in mind our local rates for other cars (Dealer serivce at GM, Toyota, etc.) being at lowest $75 up to $110 per hour. Local shops for other (non-Ferrari's) could be much less.

Ferrari of Washington charges $97/hr...more than double what you pay. Even the smaller shops charge about $70/hr on up. I think I'll be moving to Australia!!

BTW - I've been pretty happy with the service so far at FOW..thankfully I haven't needed them much, so only time will tell.

I'm a strong believer that you get what you pay for, but I'd still be interested in a comparison of fees that I pay in Australia with what the rest of the world pays.

What do mechanics charge per hour in the US? Here in Sydney Australia I get charged appr. A$80/hr which given the state of the exchange rate is about US$40. I'm extremely happy with the service that I get from Rudolf at Piccola Scuderia BTW. Do you guys pay more and get less or vice versa?

Cheers,

Eric
