From what I've read, if the shaft is badly corroded where the seal sits, it will allow coolant to leak past. They may have just changed the seal and not recondition the shaft and/or replace it. Ask them to take a look at the internals of the pump before they re-assemble it (or if they just swap another 328 pump for yours, ask to see your old one). |

good to hear about folks standing behind their work. I would try too understand if there is a underlying problem causing early failure |

Norwood Performance is showing how good and honest they are again. He just left me a message yesterday that my water pump was leaking and I checked my records today to find it was only rebuilt by them 18 months ago. Before I could even say anything they told me he had checked my records and they will cover it under warranty. I think after about 3 years wouldn't be as surprising. |

sounds it - the bearings should be able to last longer than that. Sounds like this time you should go with a Nick upgrade - maybe he can give you a discount. Who rebuilted it for you the first time - what is their reaction |

I had my water pump rebuilt 18 months ago and I was just told it was leaking again. I drive my car at least once a week. Is this that unusual?
