I drove by there again today going to pick up my car. I can't imagine spending $300k on a Murcielago and going down there to do anything to it. This will be interesting to watch. |

Jim, the dealership was supposed to open in Plano originally. I asked Gary about this and he said originally they looked at land out there, however, things worked better from where he currently is. I agree not the best neighborhood...but if that keeps the overhead down then I pay less for my cars and service. By the way the property is monitored for security reasons...at least thats what I am told! |

I spoke with a guy at the car show last year that was rep'ing the Murcielago, and he made it sound like the Lambo dealer was going to go in Plano. I'd be amazed if they built it at 35 and Royal, not the best neighborhood. Thats a pretty amazing price difference for the 30k though. I'd be a little concerned about 'service after the sale'. Everything Norwoods has done for they've backed up 100% (including the problem it's in for now). I'm not worried about them going away. |

Jim, Gary quoted $2500.00 - $3000.00. That is the place I am talking about. That is going to be the new Lamborghini dealership. That also is the mechanic I was talking about. FYI FOD wanted $6500.00 for the 30K service |

Dan, how much did Gary quote your for the 30k? Now that you've given me background, I think I know who he is. His business was on the west side of 35 next door to a Corvette store. I had been in there a few times when I was car hunting. I also met his mechanic that at one time worked at Norwoods as we were looking through some maintenance records. Just as a reference, FOD quoted me $5-$6k for my 30k, Norwoods did it for $3800. |

I have checked with James at Norwood and no doubt they are good. Their price reflects it too...$5600.00. Gary Seale has sold high end European cars in the Dallas market for 15 years. He recently had his own dealership at I 35 and 635 called Seale Motorsports. However now that Motorcars Intl. is opening up a Lamborghini dealership here Gary is going to be the General Mgr. Apparently the mechanic that would work on my car came from Norwood. His name is Greg. When I met Greg he was putting the piston in a Diablo motor. He seemed to know his stuff. I realize if I can afford the car - I can afford the service, but that is not the point. I have done this service before and it is way over rated therefore over charged. I am just considering all options.

Nope, never heard of Gary Seale? I was told about somebody in East Plano... used to work for Ferrari of Houston... maybe this is the guy??? Here's another guy to check out for belt service (or your 30K), his name is Robert Rodgers and his company is Shadetree Engintrics (972-771-0804). He's located just outside of Rockwall. There's an Italian Car Club in Plano that swears by this guy. Says he does several Daytona's, Maser's & other V12s... and lots of V8 F-cars. Rumor has it he's slow, good and very, very reasonable $$$. Like Jim mentions below, Norwood is always very solid. |

Dan, I haven't heard of this guy. I'd suggest you call James at Norwoods at get it done there. There is no shortage of positive feedback for them. Where did you find Gary? |

Has anyone used Gary Seale for Ferrari service in Dallas? I am thinking about having him do a timing belt service on my 348. He said it would run $2500.00 to $3000.00. Price sounds appealing but I never dealt with him before. Any feed back...negative or positive? |
