The compressor works OK, on a normal system the pressure on low pressure and high pressure side should be the same direct when turn off the A/C, On my car it's takes approx. 5 minutes before the pressure is same.
Where is the expansion valve located ? Do I need to remove the dash ?

Lawrence,
The TR uses the same Sanden unit as the 328's and 348's. I think it's a SD-508(?).

The dryer / filter in the front of the car is a frequent culprit. Will collect debris and result in obstructed flow. Cost approximately $175 U.S. from Ferrari, and requires evacuating and charging system. Others have suggested that you can use any dryer at lower cost - search archives for this discussion.

By no circulation you mean the pressure on both sides of the compressor is the same? Don't mean to insult you, but is the compressor clutch engaged?

There is a screen just upstream of the throttling valve that can plug with debris. The throttling valve (expansion valve) can also plug stopping flow. I'm assuming a TR system is just like any other system here.

Ford has a problem with what is dubbed 'the black death'. They had their compressor pieces teflon coated. The coating comes off and plugs everything.

Haven't read anything about this with compressors made for F's.

Hello all TR lovers, I have a problem with my 88 TR aircond, there is no circulation in the A/C system, I checked the system with pressure gauges
and the system seems to be blocked.
Is there any valve or similar in the system which can be blocked ? and where is it located ?
