Paul: I have the 245/45-16 rear and 225/50-16 front setup on stock rims. Works great, same height (within about a 10th of an inch), puts more rubber on the road (and actually having the fronts upsized made more difference in feel than having the rears upsized) and no problem with fender clearance on my 308/QV. Asking for superstick AND higher mileage are kind of at odds with each other. Since mileage is part of the equation, that means price is too. Right now TireRack is having a close-out sale on Yokohama AVS-Int's for $57 per tire! For that price, you don't have to worry as much about mileage. Z-Rated, "Ultra High Performance" tire, the "Intermediate" means midway between a dry and rain tire. |

Curently running 205 55 16 and 225 50 16's. would like to know if when running the 225 and 245 combo if I keep the same aspect ratios as above or if you are running something different? Also, a tireshop told me today that "you cant get a better tire than a bfg g-force" right now. Of course I took that with a grain of salt because he said the F1 sucks in comparrison. Is he right? Im looking for a tire that will stick like glue and last more than 5000miles. |
