Jeff is correct...I tried to find a way to lower mine into the door.....the lower door shell is smaller in height than the window frame by almost an inch... |

If you've ever removed the door panel, it becomes clear that there isn't enough room in the door. The windows rest on small rubber bumpers at the bottom of the door when fully lowered. |

My TR and Boxer windows don't go down all the way either. After talking to a number of people, over the years, it seems that Ferrari doesn't want you to put you left arm out of the window.....that makes it easier to keep both hands on the wheel.......sounds corny, but probably true! |

My guess is that they knew how bad their window motors sucked so they knew that they needed an inch or so of glass so you could grab it with your fingers to get it started going up. |

I never asked this but does anyone who has been into their 308 side windows know why they don't go all the way down into the door? Is the track to short? Or do I have a problem , but both windows go down the same distance and stick up about 1 1/2" . I guess its better then sliding plastic windows. Ah yes my old Triumph TR3. |
