The door shape and depth prevent it. They stay up a couple of inches. |

There are a couple of rubber pads that the window rests on when it hits the bottom. The windows are probably down as far as they will go, especially if they are at the same level. You can always take door apart and check. It isn't that hard an operation. You can then check the cable tension and silicon the window tracks. |

I never asked this but does anyone who has been into their 308 side windows know why they don't go all the way down into the door? Is the track to short? Or do I have a problem , but both windows go down the same distance and stick up about 1 1/2" . I guess its better then sliding plastic windows. Ah yes my old Triumph TR3. |
