Mitchell I cleaned mine also but it just didn't look right when compared to all the replated nuts and bolts. The aluminum I replaced it with looks great but the rubber is shot! Gerrit, I'm gonna check it out right now. |

Mine looks pretty much like yours. I removed them, cleaned them, painted the back, and put them back with new rivets. I did not try to replace them because I thought they were a lot harder to get right. Sorry, could not help with the rubber trim thing. |

I recently removed the aluminum firewall from my 1975 Dino GT4 Series 1. The firewall has three pieces...one large one in the center and two smaller ones behind the fuel tanks. The smaller ones are shaped like a half moon and have a rubber seal around the edge that meets up with the body work. I've cut new aluminum pieces for the firewall but can't seem to find the correct rubber seals. I've looked at window trim shops but they just aren't quite right. Any ideas? BTW All the other GT4 I've looked are different. I've never seen two alike.
