Toss the #$!@# pegs. Go to the HW store & get black allen head set screws. All but 1 of my clips stay in place w/o the pegs. I keep forgetting to take a spare clip with me so I can size the set screws.

They are buggers. I used a hammer and a punch. You need to hit it nice and straight and the punch needs to a flat flat that covers the whole pin. |

I just purchased about 10 black plastic clips that hold the red ignition wires to the engine block. They have a small tip that I am assuming gets pushed into the clip and engine block to firmly hold the clip in place. When I took a small screwdriver and hammer to gently pound the tip in nothing happened. I then pounded harder only to destroy the tip. How the hell do I properly pound the tip in without destorying it? |
