There should be no damage since the engine did not run long enough. |

Actually i have my 308 for service in a local workshop. They had changed all tubes around the engine because these are 14 years old. The company which made the oil tube had done a bad job. When running the engine in neutral gear for testing, the oil tube to the oil cooler leaks, the oil pressure goes down and the engine lost appr. 1 liter oil. The engine runs appr. 30s under these conditions before the mechanic can stop it. The mechanic said this wouldnt cause any damage because the engine runs in neutral gear only for a short time. But i am a little bit worry about it. Whats Your opinion ? Dirk |
