A completed circuit will read a voltage drop.

Greg -- are you saying that the voltage measures OK (i.e., about 12V) where the yellow ign. wire exits at the top of the #1 fuse position, but not OK at the other end near coils? If the voltage on the yellow wire is low at both ends and the voltage on the azure (bluish) wire coming into the top of the #2 fuse position measures 12V, try connecting the azure wire directly to the yellow wire at the fuseblock (which is what the fuseblock should be doing).

It is the postive ignition wire from the car which is split and then connects to the coils.

Is this the yellow wire from the XR700 "black-box"?

I was checking my ignition on my 308 due to not receiving any spark. At first, I was getting 120 millivolts on my meter. I was testing the yellow ignition wire that splits and goes to the coils. I checked all of my fuses and ran voltage tests at the fuseblock. Then, the car started. I checked the voltage then and it was 3V not 12V. How can the car start on 3V? I tested it again with the key all the way over but not turning the engine. Then I checked it while the car was lit, and when turning over. Still 2-3V's. Is it possible this could be some form of trouble in the fuseblock causing the Voltage to be lower? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, GREG
