Well guys my price is no better. $35.00 ea. Champion is PN# 098 Ferrari PN# 150180. If someone can find them cheap. PLEASE let me know and where they found them. I am thinking they are Ferrari Exclusive. I can't find them anywhere but Ferrari. But you can use the other cheaper plug. <ra6hc> Same heat range, should last you 15K. http://shop.auctionwatch.com/sodacom/item/544737618/index.html |

Ncarmine, I bought mine at an authorized Ferrari dealer here in France. While they might not have them lie around on the shelves in great numbers, any good parts source should be able to order some for you. |

Original plugs for the 328 are Champion A6G. Not a trace of gold inside or out. Very thin wire type center electrode 18 mm socket. Champion barcode on box with these numbers: 50-10874-503045 (partnumber?). |

It was kind of the seller to provide the Champion part number, but I'm not familar with a "gold" Champion. It must be a newer style plug as that part number doesn't appear in the Champion data sets that I've run across before. Good luck with the search... |

Here's the response I received from the seller: "The plugs are the ones ferrari says to use for the car A6GC they are with gold inside and are the only ones you should put in the car"

Carmine -- Doesn't seem like a deal to me at $8 each (even if they are Champion's "exotic" plug). You can look up your 328 here: http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/apps/cars_trucks_suvs (which will show D8EVX -- NGK's VX Platinum) and you can get these at: www.clubplug.net for a better price. If those Champions are Iridium that might be a fair value, but I just wanted to point out that you really can't judge the value at $8 each until you know the electrode construction (standard, platinum, iridium, whatever-ium) or Champion part number -- JMO. (Interesting that the seller is in Deutschland but will only ship to the US? I wonder if he'll give you the Champion PN if you ask?) |
