I see some white with red stripe wires going to the seatbelt warning buzzers. Are yours working?

I pulled the driver�s side mats and carpeting the other day to clean and condition the leather on the console and noticed two short wires (clipped) coming out from the cut-out for the gas pedal in the fiberglass floor. The wires look like they�re attached to the base of the gas pedal assembly. I�ll have to double check, but I think they are white with a red stripe. Anyone have any ideas?
