Craig, Those "pills" go in the sparkplug holes? I have been taking them myself. WoW, sure makes the car "seem" like it is going alot faster, but then again I think it makes the lampposts move really fast to me as well. Could also be the cause of my schizophrenia but at least my arteries are clean and I clog real well when I bleed. I am a big JC Whitney fan just love to look at all the kooky stuff and tools in there. |

I used to order many years ago from JC Whitney when I was young and at that time they were selling a lot of cheap junk. Recently, I've been ordering (in the last 10 years or so) and found that a lot of the items they sell are made by regular names like Bosch, Hella and others. Some of the time the items are not advertised as made by them and are considerably less expensive-- they come in a plain box but have the manufacturers label on the part. As long as you don't buy the obvious junk like the "pills" that go into your sparkplug holes to cure all your engine problems..... |

Speaking of injectors.. can you believe that the JC Whitney catalog (you read that right) has a listing for injectors for Ferrari 308s I think the price is good too, I haven't compared yet don't know about quality as I have not purchased these. |

Mark, You mean the rotor for the ignition timing ? Or do You mean the distributor ? Thanks Dirk |

Had similar problems with a 308i, then the rotor gave up the ghost. Now I think the other is going, as again, less than 3000rpm, down on power and rough. I'm considering new ignition system. |

Are your injectors all still the original ones? If they are then you should replace them. Did this to mine and it runs much smmother, passed emissions and gets 2-3 mpg more. $30 replacement each is just the same as having them each flowed. |

My 308QV-84 runs badly below 3500 rpms but above the car runs perfect. There is more trouble when the engine is warm and running longer at lower revs. First it sounds like this problem are form bad plug wires. I had changed all wires but the problem is still the same. Has anyone an idea ? Thanks Dirk |
