The part number in my GT4 P.C. is: -95300045. This fits distributor type S127G -95300046. This fits distributor type SM805A (electronic ignition) A single-distributor rotor is part number: -95300317. Fits both types of single caps. |

Thanks Dave, it does have the 2 coil wires. I havent had the pleasure of seeing an actual euro cap and the terminals just push into mine like a conventional cap on a domestic. I would like to get a new one just incase this one gives me trouble. Its 14 years old. |

Paul, if the cap has 2 coil wires going into it then chances are good that it is the stock early Euro cap as you indicated....

It turns out that when my car was converted to a single distributor with points, a kit was used that gave you all you needed to make the change. I doubt they are available anymore, it cost $1800 in 1988 for the kit alone + labour. My question is, what cap would I specify at the dealer? Does it look like an early euro cap? This is the best picture I have of it. |
