Send your title to:.......

I absolutely can't believe this. I've been inundated! Let me brush up on my HTML, etc. If I can make it semi-automated, it should be do-able. I've got a few ideas, and a large # of names. Like all surviving 'GT4s, all 20 of them. <jk>

No, no. I was wondering if your advise applied to a 'GT4. So I see it does.

PS Are you interested in a 'GT4 register? Seems a lot of people are. Misery loves company.

Don't know, I've only done this on a GT4. I'll look closer at the vent tomorrow, maybe take a picture of it off so you can see how it works and fits into place.

Jay: Is this 'GT4 specific? I have not a clue if GTB/GTS is different.

Hans, I just removed the entire dash/glove box to get it recovered. Try turning the vent and lifting at the same time, that's what I did, but then again I didn't care if I made a mess. You've gotta be gentle yet firm.

It looks to me like I have to remove the windshield to get my fat hands near there. I need to hire a midget to work on this car, as my body won't contort to get at a lot of stuff.

Hans, if your talking about the 3 circular vents on the dash, yes they gently pry out. But you have to drop the engine in order to get a flathead screwdriver in there to pry! :-)

I think the vent is forced fit into the dash. You might try gently prying it loose.

I went to adjust the drivers side on-dash vent, and the little link connecting the two 'flaps' fell off!! I'm sure I can fix it if I can just figure out how to get at it.

So, how do you get access to the dash vents? Is there an easy way, or do I start disassembling the entire car starting with the differential?
