Got it fixed it was a bad earth on the rear right hand side light assy. They never made these connections very well from the factory & the screw holding the earth wire down was loose / dirty. Cheers Mario.

you probably have separate flashers for each side. If all of the bulbs are good and bright then you have a bad flasher. a ground (earth) problem would cause the lights to show a simptom such as being dim. If your lights are bright and working then a ground (earth) problem is not it. Replace the right side flasher and that should do it.

Hi Guys,

My 1983 Mondial QV has a strange problem with the indicators. When indicating left everythings fine - flash rate, duration etc all ok. When indicating right flash rate very fast all bulbs working - a definite fault. When Hazards selected then both left & right work fine at the correct rate. All bulbs have been checked someone suggested an earth problem?? Had the car many years now & this has just happened any clues?
Cheers,

Mario
