Maybe this is why all of those cheap, steel ANSA exhausts rot out, from this heavy condensation. |

Yes Yes, I have an '84 QV. It does the same thing when cold. It always has and this is not a problem |

All of the 8 and 12 cylinder Ferraris that I have owned do this when they are cold. It is only condensation and nothing to be concerned about. |

Blue-ish smoke is an indicator of oil problems, white-ish smoke on start-up only is just condensation. I get heavy white-ish smoke out of my left tail pipe on my GT4. |

I'll wait for more experienced answers... but isn't that just the engine running rich because the cold has created denser air and you need more gas to have the same ratio? But then again, I think white smoke is oil and you shouldn't be burning much of that. How well do you maintain your oil levels. |

I HAVE EXPERIENCED WHITE SMOKE EMITTING FROM LEFT EXHAUST PIPE UPON WARM UP FROM COLD. AFTER WARM UP SMOKE GOES AWAY. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY TIPS AND THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR PAST ADVICE PS ITS A 1982 308GTSI |
