Rod--I just did mine on my newly-acquired "85 308 and it went without a hitch. I climbed into the trunk and laid across the engine to get at the cap screws on the front dist. Beyond that, be careful not to loose those tiny set screws which connect the wires to the cap and be aware that you need to pull the center carbon electrode and spring out of the cap to access the coil wire screw. I'm about to change the plug wires on my '81 GTSi. It seems fairly straight forward with the exception of access to the forward distributor cap. Anyone have any advice/cautions before I begin. Thanks, Rod |
