You want original Wilton wool, not synthetic aftermarket carpet, you can tell the difference in feel and look. If you want to do it yourself just order the wilton wool and use your old carpet as a template, then have the edging sown on.

Order from gahh. When I redid my first Mondial, gahh told me that they supply most of the others here in the US. Their carpet kit fit/looked great in the car...even shipped me the door kick pieces for free when I discovered they were not part of the kit. (I sent them my originals...)

www.italiancarparts.com has complete set for a 328 for about $1200 while www.gahh.com has them for about half that. I called Italian car parts and they were very helpful about installation etc. but could not explain why their price was so much higher. I ahve called Leatherique the dye company and they sell carpet dyes. I have a post asking if anyone has used their carpet dye products.

This winter, I would like to replace the carpets in my 348 as they are faded and dingy looking, and would be the icing on the cake of my interior restoration. Can anyone share their wisdom on where I should aquire new carpets (including door carpet sections), as well as some installation advise? Thanks in advance!

Scotty!
