Yes Peter, And in that instance, the fix WAS to switch to resistor spark plugs. It also corrected the interference I got on my family service radio. |

You may recall I was having am radio static problems and thought it may be related to the non-resistor plugs spec'd for 328's. Well, my antenna was stuck in the open/extended position, and I decided to replace it this weekend with a new on, and guess what, no more am static. So obviously the problem was with the antenna itself. Not sure why,as all the connections and grounds on the original antenna were clean and tight, but whatever, it is fixed now. If anyone needs help with cheap sources for a semi-automatic antenna let me know. I also found a source for a totally black-chrome semi-automatic antenna, and this is what I installed on my car. Looks nicer than the chrome one, since all the trim on a 328 is black anyway. |
