Wouldn't be a bad idea also to replace the brake-booster hose as well (you've dismantled everything to get to the heater hose...Kill two birds with one stone...).

Paul, weren't you the one who was going to convert your car over to the gel coolant? I can't remember where that was on the chat line. If so, how is that coming along?

Remember Dina's heater hose adventure well I had the same problem the other day........ leaking (seeping) heater hose at engine block so like Dina thought I would trim the end and reclamp, well just like Dina found out the inside of the heater hose was like liquified rubber and the outside looked perfect.

I would all of you with 308's to replace the heater hose ASAP, the way this hose breaks down is pretty nasty and all that gunk is ending up in your heater cores and radiator.
