You need to get into some math on relative flow rates to figure out how much boost the stock system can handle. Either Nick Sciania or Corky Bell at Bell Engineering down in TX can likely help. |

When I did mine, Ididn't take a chance withthe stock injection, I pus EFI witha programable ECU (computer) with an O2 sensor to help tune it. I have seen turbos using the stock injection, so I know you could, I just didn't want to mess with it. |

What do you do about fuel mixture w/ a supercharger? Will the stock injection recognize the added intake air and increase fuel accordingly? Or do you have to supplement the fuel somehow? Ron Tonkin (the Portland OR F-Car dealer) did a homemade twin turbo on a 512BB. Burned 2 sets of pistons before getting the mixture right. |

John Your picture looks like the 208 turbo with a single turbo and no intercooler. The Norwood ad cited indicates 2 turbos and intercoolled. I'd love to see a picture. Philip |

This looks more or less like the original setup to me. John B.

Ben, I spoke to the folks at Norwood and they told me they have built 800 HP 308 engines with almost stock everything. Forged pistons, new rod bolts and striff valve springs (because of the boost pressure). The design goal for my new street engine is 500 rwHP, we'll see how it works out. |

Anyone ever seen a picture of a twin turbo 308/328? I thought Ferrari concluded a tt wasn't doable on a 308 without causing excessive heat through the firewall -- hence the longitudinal placement of the engine in the 288. The production turbos were single units run off the rear bank exhaust I thought. I'd like to see how the plumbing was done... Philip |

I disagree with Mark--his 308 IS a rocket !!!!! Certainly the absolute fastest 308 or 328 I've ever had the pleasure to ride in. |

Erik, I already have a basic lump, So all I would be looking for would be the plenum, and maybe the s/c. I am looking at an Opcon Autorotor, but an Eaton would be easier on the budget. Seriously, If your selling the bits email me (quickly before the bug that's up my but crawls away) Jeff Davison |

That's really good Mark considering my stock 328 is good at 225 hp rwhp. |

Rob is right about Norwood. I checked when I got home and it's a Turbo 308 QV on page 94 of the November 2002 Forza. From the ad: "Twin Turbo Intercooled system for 308/328 $5900. Complete TT system with Garrett Intercooler...good for over 400hp with minimal lag." |

I get 305 rwHP. It's not rocket, but it's very respectable. |

I haven't supercharged anything in the 308 series, however Nitrous was popular a few years ago, and I did put a V-12 in a 308 that was a real blast. ;-) If you charge one let us know how it goes. |

I couldn't find anything in the December issue. I don't know if Norwood ever did anything but Turbos, if they did SC's, then maybe only a few. |

There is an ad in the new Forza for a supercharged 308. I think it was from Norwood Ferrari. They also had a supercharger kit for a 308 listed. It was about a 1/8 page ad with a picture of a green 308. |

I'm contemplating supercharging a 308QV. Has anyone or does anyone here know of anyone who has done this? Thanks, Jeff DAvison |
