Charles, just go for what you think you'll like the look of, I have the 110mm sculpted chrome Cavalino's front and rear, they look really neat. You wont find them listed against the specific model as that model didnt have them, as discussed the standard 348 just had the smaller(?) black one to the rear, non on the front You will need to be imaginitive with fabrication of padded discrete brackets if you want to mount a front one, especially if you want to be able to remove it say at a later date without leaving a trace - e.g. concours. Suggest if you can get them you start with half of a 'P' clip assembly, on mine its worked real good and looks standard fit. |

Dave, I went to the web site but couldn't find the 348ts emblem. They had the Cavalino's but not the others. Am I just missing them or something? |

Charles - the chrome sculpturedc emblems look fantastic! Ray - please don't try and 'prise' off an emblem, they have two integral studs that run through holes in plates brazed to the grille, the studs and therefore cavalino are then fastened with (brass?) nuts. If you try and prise you will damage the grille and Cavalino |

I was planning on removing the '92 348ts emblem to touch it up as well. Can anyone tell me if it is difficult to pry it out without damaging it. Also, what is the best way to remove it. Thanks |

I believe all 348s had the black horse except for the Spider, Speciale and GTB/GTS cars. |

Mine is a Euro '91. I think the satin black horse was standard at the rear, with 'no horse' being standard at the front. |

John, I do have the chrome horse. I guess the 89's were the only ones to have the matte black. |

I put a 110mm Chrome sculpted one on there in place of the flat black ally one. I also added one the same to the front grille. Ordered them online from http://web.tiscali.it/autoretro/ 110mm Chrome are 37 bucks a piece, chrome quality is superb. They also do many other badges/emblems and delivery was quick. |

I looked again at mine tonight when I got home from work and it is indeed plastic. As I stared off at it more I think on a black car it would look awesome in chrome! See if there are any places around you that can do a chrome plating job for you. It should only cost around $40 or so and I think will really make the back end of the car look great along with the chrome horse (if you have the chrome one). |

Charles-The one on the back of my `92 is aluminum. What I did to the rear emblem on my prior 308 was sand and polish the aluminum to a chrome like finish, then paint the recessed center lines black for contrast. I actually came out looking really good. |

That's what I think it is John. I did'nt know you could powder coat plastic. I want to do something to change the color because my car is black which makes the emblem difficult to see, it just blends right in. I bet it looks great on that red one you have! |

Mine appears to be made out of plastic. I think you could power coat it real easily. |

Does anyone know what the little 348ts emblem on the right rear of a 90 348 is made out of? I would like to crome it or powder coat it but I don't know if it is possible. |
