Alan,

I have the 348 Shop manual on CD ROM, and this one DOES have the M 2.7 Ignition Diagnosis sections as well as the M 2.5.

The cost is $169.99 for the complete repair manual on CD.

Email me if you need it.

Kurt.

I have both shop manual and parts book,
there are no how-to step by step instructions in the shop manual. When I dropped the engine on my
348, I spoke with two people who had done this
before and just followed their advice...
Let me know if you need more info on this subject?

does the shop manual have the
details of how to drop the motor for service?
which electrical lines to unplug and which
hoses to remove (fuel, oil, hydraulic, coolant)?

I agree with Charles. The 348 shop manual is not very useful. I have the CD version from Ferraribooks.com and have not found it to be much more than an expanded owners manual. I expected more mechanical detail and how to information.

Alan-I have a workshop manual and could probably burn you a copy if interested.

Or try either www.ferraribooks.com or www.ferrariliterature.com for an original.

Alan, I have the two volume set and I can tell you the parts manual would probably be more useful! The shop manual does have some interesting info in it but I have yet to be able to use any of it. Anyway I got them @ WWW.ItalianCarParts.com they carry both the shop manual and the parts manual.
