Alan, I have the 348 Shop manual on CD ROM, and this one DOES have the M 2.7 Ignition Diagnosis sections as well as the M 2.5. The cost is $169.99 for the complete repair manual on CD. Email me if you need it. Kurt. |

I have both shop manual and parts book, there are no how-to step by step instructions in the shop manual. When I dropped the engine on my 348, I spoke with two people who had done this before and just followed their advice... Let me know if you need more info on this subject? |

does the shop manual have the details of how to drop the motor for service? which electrical lines to unplug and which hoses to remove (fuel, oil, hydraulic, coolant)?

I agree with Charles. The 348 shop manual is not very useful. I have the CD version from Ferraribooks.com and have not found it to be much more than an expanded owners manual. I expected more mechanical detail and how to information. |

Alan-I have a workshop manual and could probably burn you a copy if interested. Or try either www.ferraribooks.com or www.ferrariliterature.com for an original. |

Alan, I have the two volume set and I can tell you the parts manual would probably be more useful! The shop manual does have some interesting info in it but I have yet to be able to use any of it. Anyway I got them @ WWW.ItalianCarParts.com they carry both the shop manual and the parts manual. |
