Was there that much of a difference in price? I got mine for about $30 Canadian if I remember correctly and they were off the shelf!

thanks Verell

I got in on the group buy in August just before the discovery of the wrong bushings...I guess I'll be patient as others have been waiting a heck of a lot longer than I.

Paul,
Yes, unfortunately ES had delivered the bushings and had been paid before we discovered that the wrong part # had been used to order the front bushings(long story).

The short version of the story is that was an honest mistake was made that wasn't discovered until the 1st owner went to install them. This was after everyone people had received the bushings.

What's been highly frustrating to everyone involved is that ES seems to do everything at a sleepy snail's pace...

According to Mark's most recent eMAIL, ES has said they'd take 1/2 of the miss-ordered parts
back & replace them with the part we need. They also said 'we'll work something out' about the other 1/2 & (I believe) suggested we try to find some other Ferrari owners who could use them & would buy them for their cars at the group buy price.

SO, ANYONE NEED SUSPENSION BUSHINGS AT A 'GOOD PRICE SAVINGS'??

We now know that the miss-ordered parts are used on TRs, MondialTs, and one other newer
model i'll have to post later.(I'm doing this from memory as I don't have access to Mark's eMAIL from home tonite.)

Stock suspension pieces from GT Car parts were about $25 each and you need 8. Beg a little and Bill will lower his prices 10%. Bill is a good guy.

Mitch, how were their prices? I need to do the rears over the winter and it doesn't look like these things are going to show up any time soon. who is holding all the cash for this? Energy Suspension?

I have been waiting since ... February and got nothing. Had to buy rear pieces from GT Carparts to put my car back together. Still nothing from the buy. This is the last group purchase for me, ever.

Bert I had the welds cut and the new bushings tack welded in place. No big deal, just make sure they go in the right way. Be mindful that the new bushings have no give to them and it may take some force to get the control arms to fit back on the car.

Bert, all the bushings for the 308 (front and rear) are the same size. Use a Dremel to remove the spot welds. The front upper wishbone bushing brackets also holds the top of the shock in place and the bolt, M12X120 if rusty, is a S.O.B. to get out. I had to cut mine in half to remove it

First of all, HOLD THE PHONE. Unless you have gotten replacements, 1/2 of your bushings are not correct. There is a thread around here someplace about that. (Now looking...... Nope, not in that pocket.....Not there either.) Anyway, if it was the same group buy that many of us had, you'll need 1/2 of them replaced.

Welds: OEM are welded. Usually a Dremel tool or somesuch is needed for removal. I've heard heated debate as to need to re-weld replacements. If you do, get someone who knows what they are doing, as you melt the bushings.
