Thanx Manu, But I think i mis-used the words staright-pipes. I was actually thinking about leaving the TUBI Exhaust on since I already have it on the car. Instead i was thinking about de-Cat'ing the car with straight pipes from TUBI (for lack of a better word). I would leave the silencer in place as well. I was just wondering with this setup (TUBI Exhaust + De-Cat) how would the sound be and how would it effect the operation of the O2 sensors. Also would the this setup effect the exhaust adversly by it smelling like gasoline since i removed the Cat's. As well how would it effect the emmisions of the car. Thanx again for your help.

P.S. Or would be a better idea to scrap all about De-Cat'ing the car and go the way you have suggested by removing the TUBI Exhaust and installing "Staright-Pipes" which would eliminate only the muffler, therefore leaving the everything else alone.

Definitely a good idea Rehan... crucially the idle resonance which the stock tubi delivers disappears and most of all the sound is lifted a few octaves... a Daytona-esque typical Ferrari V12 sound.... AND it's not too loud...
DO IT and please report your results.
P.S. The straight pipes are typically cheaper as they are simply pipes with no muffler - so less material/man hours etc... so cheaper... MUCH lighter too.

I am thinking about putting Tubi straight pipes on my 550? Does anyone have any experience with how the car would sound with Tubi straight pipes and a Tubi exhaust the later i already have installed on my car. How much would staright pipes from Tubi cost? I am at this point more intrested on how the car would sound. Any information would be greatly appreciated
