Hi, Anthony--that's the route I went with my car. Contact the State's DVM fiirst and they'll tell you exactly what to do. Sometimes there is a small fee involved--I think mine was $10. How's that car coming along that you've been investigating? |

...quick question... How does one check to see if a car's title is "clean"? Can I contact the DMV of the state the car was registered in and give them the chassis number? I am assuming I can not use an online method (CARFAX) because the vehicle ('77 308) is pre-VIN. Thank You, Anthony |
