Pretty straight forward, not that many parts inside. Which pump do you have Greg, the smaller bearing one? Definitely renew the bearings and seal. If it is the small pump, the bearings are SKF 62202-2RS1 (around $10 to $15 each). Once you get the outer bearing out (tricky), take out the snap-ring, the spring washer and press the shaft out. Inner bearing can then be pressed out.  | ||

I was getting ready to change my Timing Belts and had thought about rebuilding my water pump while I was in there. Has anyone done this yet? How was the rebuild? I just rebuilt my water pump on my Lotus Esprit and wasn't too bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
