I'm glad to see I'm not going insane. I knew they were Pcar related. |

I purchased one from the local Alfa shop, small o-ring with a beveled edge, I forgot the part number but I remember it cost about $65.00. The calipers are almost idenical to the 914 porsche except the bleed valves are in a diffrent spot |

It is an obtainable part. If I remember correctly, the caliper on the 308 is the same as that on the Porsche 328 (although it could be the Ferrari 328). I'm pretty sure that it's a common part because one of my previous owners had to replace the right rear of my car and wrote something along the lines of the caliper being used in several cars. |

My 308 sometimes gets a puddle aound the passenger rear when the emergency brake is set. My mechanic says it looks like the seal on the shaft of the caliper for the emergency brake. Make sense? Is the an obtainable part or where is the best place to buy a rebuild kit for the caliper. Is there a good place to buy a new caliper or reman caliper at a good price? What is my best option? |
