Frank, In that case..."Tilton" Buellton, Ca. can do the whole guts. Friction Materials" Long Beach Ca can do resurfaces of discs in Kevlar. Send the whole unit plus set-up height and you are in there. Let me know how it goes. |

Billy, it would be for my BB512i. I no longer have the 348 Spider. |

Frank, If you thinking of doing it for your 348 I know how to do it in kevlar. Are you dual or single disc? |

Kermit, Thanks, I'd be very interested to hear how they work out. I'm planning on 450-500 ft-lbs torque, I think the clutch I have will hamdle it, but I'm not sure, it's nice to have an option. |

Mark, the hard info will have to come from Nick as far as statistics go. I,m going to be installing 2 in the next couple of months, and I haven't had time to study them. Visually, excellent work, stunningly light (a real bonus in throttle response). They are unsprung,so I'll know more after testing. The light weight trade off is quick response, at the loss of some rotating inertia. Easyily adapted to, one needs to take care that RPM aren't too low when you engage clutch, or it may stall. IMO a good trade. A little attention to starting from a stop, compared to getting a QUICK throttle is worthwhile . |

You may wish to be carefull with aftermarket stuff, particularly multi disc units, as they usually do not have the cushon springs in the disc. They can chatter a bit at times. In my experience with hard use of Kevlar, If slipped with a lot of power on they will be real grabby for a few miles. I have looked at the one Nick offers. Damn it is light! that will greatly improve response (RPM) |

Call Norwood in Texas, they've got a Centerforce set-up for many Ferrari's. (972) 831-8111. What car? I've done carbon-carbon on some race Ferrari's. |

You may check you local yellow pages or Nationally under racing parts/rebuilders as they could rebuild your OE clutch disk with Kevlar |
