Thanks for all the answers. So the mystery becomes more and more interesting. I charged my battery fully. The car worked for 2 minutes and them went back into this alarm problem.

I bought a new battery and fully charged it: same problem. The car has a new battery but yet behaves like the battery is discharged. All lights are off or shinning just a little bit. If I turn on anything (open a door, overhead light, whatever) the alarm stops, otherwise it rings.

I have an appointment with service but unfortunately, the earliest date they can look at my car is 4/18. It is going to tough to wait until then!

Same thing happened when my battery voltage was low.Corrected after charging and hasn't recurred.

My experiences with any type of car alarm or anti theft device is that is more trouble for the owner than the crook.

This is the reason I'm pulling the alarm out of my 308. I'd rather take the risks and not deal with the friggin thing. A 360 though I could see a little different though.

The alarm on our F355 exhibits a similar condition when the voltage gets low. Make sure the battery is in good condition and fully charged.

I just tried starting my 360 and experienced a problem with the alarm. When I pressed the remote to disable the immobilizer, nothing happened. I tried several times and eventually locked the car. I tried again but nothing happened. I got out of the car and the alarm started. I tried many things since then and here is the current status:

- I tried all remotes including the red master. None work
- passenger door won't close because the window is not lowered.
- if I turn on power (big knob in the trunk), there is a humming noise. If then I open/close doors the alarm rings for a while
- I also tried to enter the pin manually but that did not help...

I guess the battery is low. I'm currently trying to charge it. Hopefully this will work

I cannot think of any reason why the battery would be low. I drove the car last Friday for about 60 miles

Maybe one of the door wasn't closed properly?

Any idea, hint tip appreciated!

Thanks

AW
