George Evans has fantastic buys on clutches. OEM brand - Borg & Beck. I'm not sure, but the problem that Steve alluded to may be with window motors. George has some decent new replacements, but they apparently are inferior to the original motor. T. Rutlands is very popular, but their service can be a little slow. Sometimes takes a call or two to remind them to ship the stuff out! And don't forget Brian Keegan at: www.ferraripartsexchange.com . I'm not making that up. It's supposed to be Ferrari Parts Exchange, but they brain-farted when they registered the domain name. Note that if you contact Brian directly he can often get stuff not mentioned on the web site. |

Carl... The names you mention are among those that come up most commonly as good reliable sources. Nick's Forza Ferrai also seems well regarded by a lot of people. George Evans is also often recommended - though personally I have had a (slightly) negative experience with the latter. Steve |

Hi again everyone, As I'm new to this marque, does anyone have reccomendations on where to purchase parts? (best price/service, etc.) Or perhaps to the point - who to avoid? I've gathered favorable impressions of GT cars, Algar Philly, and personally dealt very favorably with our sponsor Dave (Sodacom's). Mr. McCann's site has a great search engine, and Itailan Car Parts is reasonably comprehensive. Any thoughts (non-slanderous) would be appreciated. When starting out with the mid-years had a few negative experiences (read: learned the hard way) would prefer to forego with F-car.. Thanks once again, Carl The concept of collecting parts for a car that hasn't yet arrived...Type A, yes, I know...(tentative ETA is later this week) |
