Tom, I finally got around to trying this and I couldn't reproduce what you're seeing. The car was able to hold a constant speed in 2nd gear at 25 to 30 MPH without any surging. I also tried holding constant RPM at 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, and 4000 (all in 2nd gear) and didn't see any surging. What are you seeing and what do you think it is? Jim V. '02 360 |

I need a little help from you 360 owners. During your next drive try this and tell me what you think. Drive at 25 to 30 MPH in 2nd gear, steady throttle to maintain your speed. Do you get a surge sensation? I have my own theories about this but wanted to see if anyone else experiences this surging. I'll tell you more about why after I get some reports. And I don't need anyone to tell me that I need to drive faster instead of slower. I wouldn't want to go this slow either. |
