I have tried but cannot get my grease gun to fit on any of these nipples. I think it to small. Does anyone know if they are metric nipples? |

It was so ironic that Triumphs had grease nipples, the 3 I had leaked oil so badly that everything on the bike was automaticly lubricated on a daily basis.
Triva: I saw an old Rolyce Royce that had a pedal left of the clutch, when you pressed it.. it would grease every fitting on the car. |

Thing is, I come from an old Triumph background, and these things were full of grease nipples that had to be regularly "topped up" every 1000 miles or so ..... now, if there's nipples on a 308 then they are there to be used, at least occasionally ..... I'm just worried that there's a load of them hidden away somewhere that I dont know about ! |

I've only just noticed that on my euro (UK) '80 308GTS there are grease nipples on both hinges on both doors. There's also a grease nipple on one (why just one ? why not the others ?!?) of the UJ joints on the steering column ..... where else are there nipples on a 308, to which I should be attending with the tender mercies of a grease gun ???
